First of all - Tilda Swinton? Really? I liked Michael Clayton and all, but I thought her performance was not the best. Tom Wilkinson on the other hand....he would have deserved it.
On a more positive note, if comments are any indication, I have a second reader. So I have grown my readership 100% in the last week! It's the small victories that make life worth living.
So Sonja, if you've gotten over to the main blog, welcome. I plan to return the favor shortly.
Also, a big thank you to my readers. Thanks to your help, I've earned my first .01 from Google Ads. It's not much, but as I said - it's the small victories.

It looks as if my last comment was eaten by the vast monster otherwise known as the internet...
Anywho, I was saying congrats on your .01 cent from the google ads. I was wondering if you've heard of Project Wonderful? I rather like their system -- easy to use, encourages other artists in all senses of the word, etc.
I've made (rather would have made but spent profits on advertizing) about a dollar from them on my sites. Of course, I don't know how much you've made from Google in the meantime so it's a faulty comparison, but thought I'd give it a mention just in case you didn't know.
Thanks for the suggestion. I am familiar with Project Wonderful and am considering advertising with them. I'm just not sure where to target.
I was thinking of posting an ad on Alexandra Erin's Tribe, but she hasn't been updating it recently, and I wanted to wait until I was sure there were eyes there.
Incidently, if you have any suggestions for sites that have Project Wonderful ads with a reader base that might be interested, I'd love to hear suggestions.
You and I are in the same boat. Mostly I've been putting up ads on Tales of MU since a lot of people from all kinds of fan bases seem to be attracted -- you also get the people who are a fan of tribe and her others there as well.
I know that Alexandra Erin did advertizing on Something Positive, but when bids are at 35 dollars .... mmmph.
I don't know really. As I said, I'm having the same problem. Ask your friends to link to your page. When you read comments on other online fiction, follow the links and advertize on their pages.
It's all I can recommend to you. I'm sorry it's not more helpful.
That's really okay. I appreciate any advice.
I've also noticed, looking at Project Wonderful, that apparently the ad that runs on Tribe also runs on her main page and Void Dogs. So perhaps I'll just buy one of the global ads (which seem to be going for fairly reasonable rates).
Now I just need to come up with an ad....
